Who is this for? #
Any director or administrator who needs to sign in to Presto Assistant using ClassLink single sign-on (SSO).
For more information on requiring a ClassLink account to sign in to Presto Assistant for teachers and administrators, refer to this article titled "Manage ClassLink Single Sign-On".
What is SSO? #
Single sign-on (SSO) with ClassLink will allow directors and administrators to sign in to Presto Assistant using their ClassLink account.

Sign in from ClassLink Launchpad #
If your district has enabled Presto Assistant in ClassLink, you should see the Presto Assistant icon in your ClassLink Launchpad. Click the icon to jump into Presto Assistant.
Sign in from the Presto Assistant login page #
- Sign in with your Presto Assistant email and password. You'll be taken to a page showing all of the organizations where you have a membership. Choose your organization or district from the list.
- Our system will prompt you to sign in to ClassLink. Press the purple button in the confirmation dialog to continue to ClassLink. You will be brought back to Presto Assistant after you sign in.
You should see the Presto Assistant dashboard after signing in with ClassLink.
Troubleshooting #
Need help with ClassLink SSO? Here are some common issues and solutions:
I can't sign in with ClassLink #
- You might be locked out of Presto Assistant if you are in a "director" role but are not a district employee that can use ClassLink. In this case, ask a director to switch you to a parent role.
- When switched to a parent role, you will maintain all permission levels except for settings only visible by directors.
I signed up with a different email address #
- If you signed up for Presto Assistant with a different email address than your ClassLink email, you should:
- Sign in to Presto Assistant with your email and password used when creating your Presto account.
- Choose the organization from the list of organizations where you have a membership.
- Go to the Profile settings page (Profile menu → Manage your Presto profile).
- Press the button labeled "Change Username" and switch the Presto Assistant email address to match ClassLink.
